Welcome to the Fairfax Community Resource Center (FCRC)!
At the Community Resource Center, we are dedicated to helping students, families, and the community achieve success and improve their lives. Our mission is to provide essential support and resources that empower individuals to thrive for the betterment of their children and families.
Services Offered
Educational Programs:
- Nutrition Education: Classes to promote healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.
- English as a Second Language (ESL): Courses to help non-native speakers improve their English skills.
- Citizenship Classes: Instruction to prepare individuals for the U.S. citizenship test and process.
- Brighter Bites: This program provides fresh fruits and vegetables to families in our community, along with nutrition education.
- Fresno State University: Free online courses aimed at providing accessible education to the community.
Support Services:
- Job Application Assistance: Help with creating resumes and filling out job applications.
- Food Referrals: Connecting families with food assistance programs.
- Form Translations: Assistance with translating school and other necessary forms.
- Citizenship Applications: Support in the application process for U.S. citizenship.
- Kern Medical Mobile Clinic (ZLE)- Every Wednesday from 11am-5pm.
Referral Services:
- Resource and Program Linking: Connecting families with various community resources and programs.
- Referral to Other Organizations: Directing families to additional support services as needed.
